Pedro Duque

Pedro Duque is one of the most prominent figures in the European space sector and the first Spanish astronaut to travel to space. An aerospace engineer, he participated in space missions with the European Space Agency (ESA), including aboard Discovery STS-95, Soyuz TMA-3, and the International Space Station (ISS). Throughout his career, he has held important leadership positions in the aerospace and technology fields, such as Minister of Science and Innovation for the Government of Spain and President of Hispasat, among others.
